Dimple Face Goes To Work

It's the 4th of July and normally my weekend off...but...it's my holiday to work. Blah...and no childcare equals 'bring your kid to work day' as well. It's turning out to be not so bad though. Dimple Face seems to be doing well entertaining himself in our "activity room" with a computer and cartoons. He also had his favorite breakfast of french toast and bacon. Hopefully, he won't be stuck on the psychiatric ward the ENTIRE day. But, so far so good. I appreciate the fact that I work in an environment with nurses (and patients) that understand the issues of 'single mommy life' sometimes. I really hope 3 o'clock comes quickly...at least we have the fireworks and bbq to look forward to tonight.
